<p>It is impossible to characterize the difficulty of a trip with a
single number (see the <a href="faq1.html">FAQ on difficulty</a>),
but book time is one measure that can help sort trips. Of the
shorter trips the East Peak of Osceola is definitely much more
difficult than the numbers indicate, due to the combination of
steepness and a very rough footway. Eisenhower, on the other hand,
is probably easier than the numbers indicate.</p>
