Feature request: Pipe key on extension keyboard line (Smart Keys)

So we have a lot of important (and often used) characters on the key-bar above the keyboard (I guess this is what's called Smart-Keys). But why is there no pipe symbol/key? Did I missed something? I use the pipe all the time in the shell and you always have to switch to the symbols keyboard to get it.

The key is on the iPhone, do you mean on iPad? Can you send me a screenshot? I can add it before I push latest version, should be easy enough!

Yeah, so it is actually to the left of your circle (on the last key). You just need to swipe down to type it :)

Ahhh…okay, now I see this very little tiny pipe symbol above the backslash….

okay…so all my wishes came true today….or years back :-)

Interesting….the „extra keys“ disappeared. On all windows, even if I close the keyboard and open it again, they are not there.

Needed to force-quit the app and start it again….

It start to get even more interesting: The keys are all gone - except for one screen.

So each terminal session has its own Smart Keys attached. The English one on large iPad actually doesn't use any because all keys are available by default. But on French, Russian, German and Spanish we offer those keys as they are usually missing or misplaced. The thing is the "selected keyboard" doesn't carry between switches, and I wonder if that's what is causing what you are seeing. Can you experiment a bit switching languages and seeing if it "restarts"?
