Show sensors from Home Assistant

Hi!
I display Frigate in fullscreen on a dedicated monitor and it would be nice to include sensor data from Home Assistant in a way or another on this view.

As a proof-of-concept of the idea and testing out Gemini 3 Pro with gemini-cli, I created this:

This is an app that read data from Home Assistant and synthesize a video stream that can be fed into Frigate. I know; it is stupid in some ways and wastes CPU cycles - but it works as a POC.

This could be done inside of Frigate in a more efficient way, but I don't know what people think about the idea.

This has been requested before, but Frigate is an NVR not a home dashboard. This type of information is best placed in a home assistant dashboard along with something like the advanced camera card to show your cameras if you like.

If this feature (to overlay custom data on video streams in Frigate) is not going into Frigate right now, my solution provides a way for users of Frigate to show custom data in a way. This could be beneficial to some users.

It would be nice to have a thread in this forum on this, but if you don't want it, I'm ok with that.
