This has been requested before, but Frigate is an NVR not a home dashboard. This type of information is best placed in a home assistant dashboard along with something like the advanced camera card to show your cameras if you like. |

Hi!
I display Frigate in fullscreen on a dedicated monitor and it would be nice to include sensor data from Home Assistant in a way or another on this view.
As a proof-of-concept of the idea and testing out Gemini 3 Pro with gemini-cli, I created this:

This is an app that read data from Home Assistant and synthesize a video stream that can be fed into Frigate. I know; it is stupid in some ways and wastes CPU cycles - but it works as a POC.
This could be done inside of Frigate in a more efficient way, but I don't know what people think about the idea.
