Initiate a sync via the Tasker app

The subject tells it all: Initiate a sync via the Tasker automation app. Some UI screens can already be opened through Tasker, but apparently, it's not possible to initiate a sync yet?

If you medium-long-tap on the DAVx5 icon you'll see a sync icon popping up. If you long tap it you can create a shortcut for the sync action. Pressing it will immideatly trigger a sync for all accounts. Maybe thats a workaround for your use case.

Any app can request DAVx⁵ synchronization (as well as synchronization of any other account as well). You can use the Android sync framework requestSync methods (like calendar apps do when a user clicks Refresh calendar).
