Can't use any hotkey to toggle play/pause

Title pretty much explains it.

On my Chrome browser, Streamkeys is unable to toggle play/pause with any hot key.

I am able to play and pause media using the Streamkeys GUI, but not with a hotkey. I can use any hotkey I set to control any of the other Streamkey functions, like mute or next track. If I set one of these known working hotkeys to toggle play/pause it does not work. It does not matter if I set it to Global or In Chrome, neither works in either context.

This is true for any website, YouTube, Soundcloud, Bandcamp etc.

I have tried reinstalling Streamkeys and restarting Chrome.

Anything else I can try?
