The list of supported water heaters appear to all be electric. Do you know of any reason why a natural gas heater that supports iCOMM would not work?

I haven't ever tested one so I can't guarantee it, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. It should be possible as long as it works with the app linked in the readme. Are you considering buying one? If you buy one and it doesn't work, I can work with you to try to get it working.

@chriswood1001 did you ever get that gas water heater installed?

I did get the heater replaced, but ended up going with a non-smart connected version. Unfortunately, I can't help debugging with the iCOMM app.
