Error running tutorial : "Computing alignments... Illegal instruction: 4" (MACOS)

Hi,
I have just installed diamond (v.2.1.9) using homebrew on M2-mac.
I am running the examples from the "tutorial section" and getting some error. I can not find any information about this one, see below"

diamond makedb --in astral-scopedom-seqres-gd-sel-gs-bib-40-2.07.fa -d astral40 # runs fine - apparently!
blastp -q astral-scopedom-seqres-gd-sel-gs-bib-40-2.07.fa -d astral40 -o out.tsv --very-sensitive

You can try installing by bioconda or compiling from source.
