Issue

In Firefox on desktop when highlighting an entire line of an ordered/unordered list and then cutting and pasting it, the number/bullet disappears and the text adds itself to the line above. This happens every time.

In Chrome on desktop when highlighting an entire line of an ordered/unordered list and then cutting and pasting it, the number/bullet indents and adds another ordered/unordered list with an empty line below. This bug seems to happen about 80% of the time.

Details

Trix version: This is in the most recent version (I am using the demo on Trix's website for the videos below), but it is also in 2.1.12. I am not sure when it was introduced.

Firefox: 142.0.1
Chrome: 140.0.7339.214
Operating System: mac OS Sequoia 15.6

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create an ordered/unordered list
  2. Double click the text to highlight one entire line of the list
  3. Copy (cmd-c) and paste (cmd-v) the text
