The shortcuts plugin should support opening sites in a new tab.
This check the base URL of the backstage instance or just be a checkbox.

🎤 Context

In my use case, I have links that I would like to keep shortcutted in my day to day work but are not directly integrated into Backstage. It would be nice if I was able to open a new tab - so I stay in Backstage as well as visit my shortcut URL.
