Discussion on AWS AppSync Events #772

Hello, as this repo doesnt have a discussion section Id like to raise a question here.
The project I`m working on is interested in adding AppSync to our app. It is built in React-Native (not Expo)
We do not wish to tap into the GraphQL structure provided by AppSync as it would be too big a lift to do at this point, but are interested in the AppSync Events Webhook strategy.
Does this package support the Events webhooks?
