Problem

After failure, UI is pretty much useless and locked

AmazonQ-enable+options

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Ask Q a question
  2. Q responds with error
  3. UI is locked
    a. I cannot enter new text, input is disabled
    b. I only have retry available as an option

Expected behavior

  1. Ask Q a question
  2. Q responds with error
  3. UI should not be locked
    a. Enable text field to allow asking another question in the same stream
    b. Give me some other options besides retry, may 'report issue' at minimum

System details (run AWS: About and/or Amazon Q: About)

  • OS: Mac
  • Visual Studio Code version: Current
  • AWS Toolkit version: Current
  • Amazon Q version: Current
