the unpacker doesn't work with exceldnapack.exe v1.6.0. all unpacked dlls are corrupted. thank you kindly for your great work.

Hi @cgreig I tested ExcelDnaUnpack with an add-in built with ExcelDna v1.6.0 and could not reproduce the issue you reported.

Could you provide more details on how to reproduce the behavior you reported?

Hi, there is a new packer for ExcelDna v1.6.0, right? There are new options about how the files are packed to combat AntiVirus issues? When I used it, the dlls were unpacked, but they are all corrupted, for instance in Windows explorer if you view properties on the files you see no metadata such has version assembly - one indication they are corrupted. Since your unpacker hasnt changed for the new packer, I was sure the issue is with your unpacker.

If you still dont agree, Ill do a step by step to reproduce. Thank you kindly.

I concur with this. An .xll packed using ExcelDna v1.6.0 or later does not unpack properly using exceldna-unpack v2.1.0.
See for yourself, here is an example .xll file:
