Some guides still refer to the "Software Playthrough" option but it is no longer called that. #59

There are several pages that use the old name for this option when it has been renamed to "audible input monitoring" or something like that.

See for example:

**DON'T use software playthrough** when recording desktop audio. Make sure it's off in the menu: **Transport > Transport Options > Software playthrough (on/off)** - The :heavy\_check\_mark:checkmark next to it must be turned off. You can turn off overdub here as well.

I purged most if those from the Manual a while back - but I found just one remaining one in the Manual (in an obscure tutorial on recording audio playing on a Mac - which is hard to do anyway). I just changed that one for the 3.6.2 alpha Manual.
Thanks for the "nudge" @jokrefta 👍

There were several other places where the Manual had the new terminology but also the old as a hint for users used to the old terminology. The transition was a fair few releases back so I have purged all bar one of those mentions of the old terminology.

I only edit the Manual, so I cannot make corrections on the Muse Support site (as per your specific example above), sorry.

@jokrefta

BTW there is a separate GitHub location for documentation errors:
https://github.com/audacity/audacity-support/issues

This location is supposed to be reserved for application issues.
