Where is the rye executable installed to in MacOS?

Following curl -sSf https://rye-up.com/get | bash from the installation guide and opening up a new zsh session, rye cannot be found.

I expect it to be in /usr/local/bin or $HOME/.local/bin which are both in my $PATH, but rye is not there.

Whoops I realize it's because exec $SHELL did not activate the source the rye env file (which is in .zprofile)

The answer:

It's located in ~/.rye/shim/rye. Make sure .zprofile has source ~/.rye/env.
