Speed limiter and acceleration added:

This new release updates the FLipMouse firmware to version 2.4, which adds the support for following features:

  • Speed limit:

Concerning the fact, that most of the FSR sensor act as non-linear force sensors, it could be a problem that the mouse cursor moves too slow at low forces, but too fast at higher forces. The current solution was a low X/Y speed setting. The disadvantage of this solution is the long time it needs to move the cursor from one edge to the other.

Now it's possible to limit the maximum speed via a new setting in the GUI

  • Acceleration:

Former firmwares did not include any acceleration algorithms. This release provides a configurable acceleration setting for the mouse cursor movement.
