select already used languages - bug? #482
Comments
These used languges are saved per device and browser, independent from the user. So maybe you're using another device/browser or the related data was somehow deleted by your browser. We could also change it to be saved (and synchronized) for each user, I don't know what makes sense. Probably it should also show these shortcuts for all languages in the current configuration which have any translation. |
I think connecting it to the user instead of the device/browser would make it more logical because there'd be a consistency.
Yes, that was my intuitive understanding of that label. If that is possible I'd say that that would be enough of an option. No need for also the other option connecting it to user oder device/browser. |
OK, it now shows only the languages which have any translation in the current grid set. Please test at grid.beta. |
It's looking good 👍 |
Suddenly the "select already used languages" is not showing anything anymore. Last time I checked was 10 days ago and now that I'm rewatching the video I made back then, it was showing languages which that specific grid set hadn't been translated to yet. I can't find info in the manual on "select already used languages" but my understanding from the wording is that all languages for which translations already exist are listed there. I'm pretty sure this was working at some point.
