Does Skywalking support Elasticsearch 9.x?

Dears,

My Elasticsearch cluster version now is 8.19.7, and I plan to update to 9.2.2.

The SkyWalking deployment we've set up uses this cluster version for storage. After reviewing the documentation and checking the issues, I haven't found any documentation indicating support for Elasticsearch 9.x. Which version of SkyWalking currently supports Elasticsearch 9.x?
If it's not supported at present, when is support planned to be added—in which version or by what timeline?

I think we don't test that. So, you need to verify on your end first. Ideally, we are using general features of elastic, new version is not a problem unless some breaking changes are brought into the new version.

Hi, Thank you for your response. Regarding the code below that checks the Elasticsearch major version, will it throw an exception if I'm using Elasticsearch 9.x?
