• For Redis clients such as https://github.com/redis/lettuce and https://github.com/redis/jedis, this is entirely impossible as neither of them implements a JDBC driver. Considering the recent change in the LICENSE of the Redis server, I also don't anticipate that Redis Inc. will introduce significant changes to their Java client in the foreseeable future, as such a move would only further fragment the Redis community.

• The https://github.com/DataGrip/redis-jdbc-driver maintained by JetBrains looks intriguing. However, the core issue lies in the fact that the corresponding JDBC driver is not even available in the Maven Central Repository.

Since the Jetbrains Team explicitly refuses to release the Redis JDBC Driver to Maven Central at DataGrip/redis-jdbc-driver#9, there is obviously no way to make any progress on this issue.
