ShardingSphere is planning some innovative ideas for creating interesting programs for all GSoC 2023 participants this year! This community is currently in the process of gathering GSoC ideas. Any committers here can contribute their ideas and be a mentor for this project.

You can try to add select_char to SUPPORTED_SQL_CASE_IDS, and then execute SQLNodeConverterEngineIT.

Now I see. One test failed over 206. It is most likely the query select_char that I just added. Please correct me if I'm wrong, the goal is to investigate/debug the issue for all the queries listed in the JIRA ticket COMDEV-489? Please provide more details if there are any.

@strongduanmu After a deeper investigation, the root cause of the issue for the specific case of select_char is that the parameters of the sql function are not retrieved properly. We need to find a way to retrieve the parameters of the sql function. So the logic that is implemented in the FunctionConverter would need to be changed. I think about doing some research on how to retrieve the parameters.

The question is How do we retrieve the parameters from a SqlStatement object?

When I go far, I can notice that the FunctionConverter defines a function called getParameters(final Collection<ExpressionSegment> sqlSegments). It might be where the change need to happen.
