Is there any chance that this extra will be updated for compatibility with PHP8?

The hook currently creates a blank page. Unfortunately there is no entry in the error log.

Got an error now:
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Cannot use a scalar value as an array in [...]/core/components/mchimpx/model/mailchimp/Mailchimp.class.php:149
