I'm Andrew, and I program in rust on various projects and tinker with Raspberry Pi's and the like - all in my spare time, when not busy with work or two small kids!

Here is the text I posted to Reddit on this project idea:

I've been doing a few raspberry pi (pi400, Pi4, pi zero, pi zero2 with rpal and pico with embassy) projects recently 
(all in rust off course!!).

I have one feature pending on my old phone project which is to read in and count the pulses from the rotary dial....

That made me think of a logic analyzer or similar to understand what is happening, before trying to interpret them

(USB logic analyzers are cheap I see....).

That made me think that the pi itself could do that!

I couldn't find any project (for pi, not pico) with a nice UI onto GPIO?

Does anyone know of one?

Others here have a similar need?

I've done some iced UIs in rust, and might tinker with making a simple UI for reading / setting GPIO 
(could later evolve to be more of a logic analyzer or digital oscilloscope....) 

- anyone interested in collaborating on such a project?
