Different Prices for Members/Non Members/Different Departments

There was an issue reported to the admintools that deserves some discussion here.

Apparently, there are events which have different prices for different people. This could be either for members and non-members, but may even be dependent on the Department of the student.

I think it would make sense to either

• implement a more complex price model
• make the price a textfield, leaving the description open to event creators.

I kind of dislike both solutions, as they make the interface more complicated, e.g. for the website. Do we have any idea how relevant this is?
