🛕 GSFC Temple Management System live 🔗

Overview

The GSFC Temple Management System is a web application designed to streamline the management and activities of the temple situated in the GSFC Jamnagar township. Established in 1989 under the Fertilizer Township Charitable Trust, the temple project aimed to foster religious engagement among residents. The system was developed using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Express.js, MongoDB, and EJS.

  • Temple Details: Explore information about the Shiva Temple and get to know about their trustees, expanses, donators and etc.

  • Donation System: Facilitate of donations from well-wishers to support temple activities and get receipts of the payment.

  • Pooja Booking System: Easily book pooja services for personal or special occasions.

  • Contact Temple System: Reach out to the temple administration for inquiries, feedback, or assistance.

  • Expense Tracking: Access information about the temple's expenses and financial transactions.

  • Announcements and Events: Stay updated with all announcements and upcoming events organized by the temple.

Installation Guide

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/amitamrutiya2210/GSFC-Temple-Management.git

  2. Navigate to the project directory:

    cd GSFC-Temple-Management

  3. Install dependencies:

    npm install

  4. Create .env file

    • Copy the contents of .sample.env and create a new file named .env. Paste the copied content into the .env file.
    cp .sample.env .env

  5. Configure environment variables with mongodb URL and razorpay key.

  6. Run the application:

    npm start

  7. Access the application: Open your web browser and go to http://localhost:3000 or the specified port.
