When thinking about developing new models of computing systems I cannot think of a better starting point than to go back to Backus's Turing Award Lecture:

https://www.cs.tufts.edu/~nr/backus-lecture.html

http://www.thocp.net/biographies/papers/backus_turingaward_lecture.pdf

Ideas in this paper offer back to the future 'fresh' perspectives and viewpoints such that when combined with OrbitDB and (re)(decent)ralizing web technologies can open new ways to deliver peer-to-peer interoperability at capability levels

Sweet. Want to make a PR adding this to learning materials? If not, I'm happy to.
