I know a Craft 3 version is in development.
@hubertprein Are you able to give an indication of when it might be ready? This has been my go to form plugin for every Craft site I do, and I haven't found anything that fills the gap that doesn't have a hefty price tag.

Unfortunately I can't give you an ETA on this. As I've decided to look for a new challenge and will be leaving a&m impact after today. Because I've been the person to communicate with the Craft community and the creation / releasing of the plugins, my employer is not sure what to do with the new and updated versions of the plugins. We'll have to come back on this subject and will update this issue with news when things are changing.
