How to perform search string-equal with escape character

I am facing issue while performing exact search. It returns not-found with the target field contains ( char.

For example, I have a record with a name field with value CAR (A) in the DB.

I have a web-API for searching by name; I tried the following

which backslash char is added before the (.. (as recommended from https://alirezanet.github.io/Gridify/guide/filtering#escaping )

my API client is in powershell script.. .the sample code as follows

    # Define a regular expression to match the special operators
    $regex = ',|\||\(|\)|/i'
    # Replace the matched characters with the backslash-prefixed version
    $escapsedName = $Name -replace "($regex)", '\\$1'
...
  ($response = Invoke-WebRequest.. )

One more comment, if there is only a single backslash char , it will throw a JSON-String validation error . i.e.

nevermind operator... the search returns the right value ... sorry !
