In my previous, custom-built tool, my users are accustomed to being able to scroll left and right on their weight loss graph, and to expand/contract the timescale to fit more data into the view.
It's extremely motivational to be able to see your full journey from start in one birds-eye view. It's also helpful to be able to zoom into one month, or one quarter, etc, to see what happened during your holiday, or a special event in your life.

Here is a recording to show how valuable this can be.
Also note the readout that shows total weight loss right in the graph. Calculating the % bodyweight lost is also an important scientific measurement, that normalizes weight loss vs starting body size.
