GCP Emulator Support

Hello for local development my team uses the GCP emulators provided by google
gcr.io/google.com/cloudsdktool/google-cloud-cli:emulators

Does Airbyte have a general solution or support for directing any GCP connectors to a different host for connecting to GCP?

Or would such support be specific to each GCP connector?

It looks like for Java based connectors, the SDK Clients would need to expose endpoint as configurable, if Airbyte can't define that globally for all client connections somehow.
