Current docs (from 2016) say

NVDA
NVDA is free software, therefore it is reasonable to expect users to upgrade regularly.
NVDA works best with Internet Explorer and Firefox so the majority of NVDA users will use one of these
two browsers.
Testing carried out - Internet Explorer / Firefox / Safari.
Google Chrome not recommended.

This does not seem accurate, according to the latest (2021) webaim survey, https://webaim.org/projects/screenreadersurvey9/ Chrome+NVDA is the second most popular combination of browser and screen reader.

It's also our primary test configuration for accessibility, and we don't experience special problems with it, with adapt content, at least. (Certainly nothing like the special problems with Safari/VO).

Please update these recommendations.

Yup. Documents are out of date.

NVDA + Chrome is a good combination now.
