Would you mind sharing your prompts? In particular, how are you passing the list of exposed devices? I tried

I started to get better control of individual devices by listing them like this as in the sample

BUT it did not always work for the service, specially if covers it only opens or closes, and not like 70%

I wondering if areas is also exposed? like turn off all the lights in the Kitchen?

And I'm also having trouble getting friendly names to work

I have been using a version of this I put my actual sensor names in there and it worked well. This guys blog is pretty good

I'm finding with the new V2 model, it says it does the action but does not actually do it, but putting the actual service as above seems to be better at doing the action.

Yes. You need to tell the model what services are available to it as the dataset was constructed to have the model select the service from the context so that it doesn't just hallucinate random service names that aren't available. It's called "grounding" and I need to add it for the parameters list so the model stops hallucinating random parameter names. So the services list would look something like light.turn_off(), light.turn_on(rgb_color, brightness), fan.turn_on(), fan.turn_off() and the model knows what parameters to pass as well. Bit of an oversight from the first 2 model versions.

having that i nthe prompt, I tried to turn on a light to 80%, but it just when to 100%

like, "turn on bonus room main lights to 80% brightness", it conifrmed my request but went to 100%

How do I do the same for cover position, cover.set_position? thanks
