Greek letters being removed from titles during ingestion?

Problem Description

#5559, #5658. Any idea why this is happening?

I strongly suspect this is on ACLPUB2, not us.

The ACL 2025 ingestion material was not posted publicly, but maybe @mjpost can check if the Greek characters were already missing there.

I looked at the aclpub2 and Anthology ingestion code and was unable to find any obvious culprits.

I guess the OpenReview export/API could be another potential culprit? I am not familiar with how that works or if there's a way to test that.
