ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'nbd' in Fedora 43 #301

Hello. First of all, thank you for the work you do creating and maintaining what promises to be a very neat utility (specially for those of us new(ish) users to Linux who run VMs and want to back them up). Unfortunately I'm getting the following error: File "/usr/bin/virtnbdbackup", line 27, in I'm using Fedora 43 and used the .rpm for Fedora 42 as that was the highest available package version closest to my distro version. I saw older conversations where it's stated the .rpm is specific to a distro version and unlikely to be compatible with a newer version. Which seems to be the case for me. Anyways, if you happen to know of a way how I can overcome the nbd module problem in Fedora 43 please let me know! Fedora 44 is scheduled to come out late April 2026. |
