Hello,

I plan to use YOLOv9 to train a model on a custom dataset and then develop a GUI for inference as a demonstrator. Eventually, I may sell this GUI as a product. I understand that YOLOv9 is licensed under GPLv3, but I would like clarification on what I am required to share as open source under this license.

  1. Do I need to share the training code and the GUI code?
  2. Am I also required to share the trained model and the dataset used for training?

Additionally, if I use YOLOv9 strictly for research and development (R&D) purposes without selling or distributing the GUI, what would I need to share to comply with the GPLv3 license?

I want to ensure I fully understand and comply with the licensing terms. Thank you for your guidance!

Best regards,
