According to the book page 7 (free download pdf)
https://wireframe.raspberrypi.org/books/code-the-classics1

"Except where otherwise
noted, the content of this book is licensed under a
Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-
ShareAlike 3.0 Unported (CC BY-NC-SA 3.0)"

It'd be really nice to add the license here.

I have the printed book (amazing quality, BTW) but somehow I couldn't find the license when using the assets in my pure C/libsdl port of Boing!.

Thank you

Hmm, the book is under this license, not the source code.
The license can be viewed in the archive from Raspberrypi OS here, see debian/copyright.

I've opened a PR. It's a shame that the project is entirely dead (I think this is an important matter), but at least, it will provide an indication to users.
