Bug Description

I join the server on 1.8.9 to 1.21 the server on velocity when I went from one to another my game freeze on screen
downloading terrain

Steps to Reproduce

1.Join the server
2 Type comand to go to next server
3 Game freeze on screen
downloading terrain

Expected Behavior

My game no freeze

We are totally unable to resolve if you cannot provide your game latest.log or server ip

Try 3.8.0 release.
