Clean up make system #183
Description
With multiple platforms supported it is apparent that the old build CMake-based system has turned too complicated and multiple problems in the builds appear because of it.
We will rebuild the CMake process splitting architecture parameters, and possibly disabling platform auto-detection and just go with proven working defaults. This is best left done externally.
This is a reminder for the task and it should be done in next version.
