Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
Steam launches normally, but (except for rare occasions) any attempts to open the client GUI result in nothing opening. This has been occurring for me for around a month now.
The issue occurs both on X11 and Wayland, across multiple desktop environments (KDE, Sway).
Steps for reproducing this issue:
Launch Steam
Attempt to open library (or any other menu option)

Are you able to start steam from the terminal?
I had a similar issue and could fix it by starting steam from the terminal.
After I disabled GPU accelerated rendering in web view in the steam settings, I was able to start steam normally again.
I also have a RX6800 so maybe it helps.

In the few times I tried yesterday, opening from a terminal didn't change anything. Either way, I can't open the settings menu, so I'll probably have to track down the setting in a config file later to confirm if this helps.
