Performance issues on linux

I am experiencing performance issues on linux, this seems to be a somewhat known issue with webkit gtk. I am not sure we can easily fix this.

Perhaps open a GitHub issue in the Tauri repo. Or create a support ticket on their Discord. Usually one of the core developers respond.

i'll do that after some more triaging to make sure it's a tauri problem

This was fixed for me by updating my nvidia drivers (to the proprietary one)
