Describe the bug

rc9 rust on Debian 12 after downloading update package via UI, it said: Invalid updater binary format.
terminal shown no related information. UI settings section does not allow enabling any debug mode.

I'll investigate the cause for this. For now, you'll have to manually install newly released versions from GitHub.
