What is the use case? Most of the time the normals are just a rendering thing and not even very useful for the actual print.
Sorry, something went wrong.
Such a view helps in seeing problems with meshes, such as holes and crossing faces.
It gives the user valuable feedback when the model is still in the design process, just like the X-ray view.
