I have been doing regression analyses on the relationship between misinformation, mobility and COVID outcomes. The preliminary analyses are in misinformationEDA.ipynb. My sense is that we can find a link between misinformation prevalence and mobility, controlling for government policy measures. However, I have not seen the link between misinformation and COVID outcomes yet. Maybe @peterzpye we can discuss tomorrow since you are doing something similar. I have also downloaded US state population and GDP data in case you guys need them in the analyses.
