Version: 2.3.3-alpha.0
System: iOS and Android (desktops are fine)

It doesn't happen in a prod version checked on iOS and Android.

Issue: There are several situations where I either observe the app crashing every time, sometimes, or never. When the app crashes, it turns itself off, and when I open it again, there is an infinite "connecting to peers" spinner.

The app crashes every time, and restarting or force stopping doesn't help:

  • when the user leaves a community (both a user and the owner) and tries to create a new community without restarting the app
  • when the user leaves a community (both a user and the owner) and tries to join a new community without restarting the app - in this case, on Android, I've seen "Invalid invite code" (it wasn't invalid; I was able to join from the same code with another device after seeing that communicate).

The app sometimes crashes:

  • when the Android user creates a community for the first time* (it happens rarely; it didn't happen for the first several checks on Android and GraphaneOS)

The app doesn't crash:

  • when the iOS user joins or creates an account for the first time*
  • when the Android user joins the community for the first time*
  • when the user on iOS or Android leaves a community, swipes up, or force stop the app, and then tries to create or join a community.

*for the first time - fresh app installation with all data cleaned

Note: I'll update this issue with new information once I gather more data.
