There are several .exe files shown for download, however no explanation that I could see about which one is the right one for the standalone (portable) Windows 11 tigervnc x64 viewer only.

Perhaps
(1) change the file naming to be explicit for newbies, and/or
(2) somehow explain somewhere which one is which ?

Very long file names can be a pain, but we could add a README that explains what is what. SourceForge even recommends to do so.

@bphinz, do you think you have time to have a look at that?
