When the TVsCE starts, it makes a check for taq and node. If that fails, the user ahs no way of knowing how to fix that.
Maybe there's a missing PATH config, or maybe they are connecting to the wrong WSL. This especially happens in Windows+Remote Linux configuration.

Maybe allowing the user to print environment variables, path and some other things (which can be different from if they do it from the command line, because a restart is needed, or other reasons) can help them find a clue.
