Skipping frames in the latest version when at x2 speed. What are my options?

Is there anything that i can do to make this work again?

I have an old tablet from 2014 and it has always being able to play youtube videos at x2 speed

Forks of newpipe often do something that makes them skip frames when used at x2 but newpipe always managed to even x3 speed without problems

But the last version of new pipe started skpping frames too :(

I have not yet try downgrading because with youtube thats usually not a good idea and i would like to stay at the latest version

Getting a new tablet is always an option but i hate the idea of hunting for a small lineageos device with minijack and spending a day getting it ready
