Metadata Output getting truncated

Hi @JAORMX

I am heavily testing MKP mcp server in our environment. One thing I have noticed is output is getting truncated and I am able to retrieve partial information. Upon checking the ReadMe page I think we need to have some kind of limit or pagination parameter under list_resources.

Please let me know your thought on this. Mainly I see this truncation when working on larger cluster.

I tried disabling rate limit as well.

Sorry! I meant to answer this a lot earlier than I did. So, I did start truncating metadata mostly because some of the outputs from it are too verbose for an LLM. Especially in GitOps settings, I noticed annotations were overloading the context window. This was happening in a fairly small production cluster already (though small is relative).

I'm open to having a flag that outputs everything if one explicitly wants it. Also, I'm happy for us to have limits and paginations when listing. Would you be willing to implement this? If not, I can do it, but we'd need to split this into too bugs.

Thank you ! for looking into this.Yes , you are right when there are many annotations it's getting truncated. In my case I have Nvidia/GPU annotations which is filling up. Basically I am from a non developer background and have very less knowledge around go lang.

I feel bad when I am unable to contribute to open source for these types of issues but I am continue to do my best where ever I can.

@JAORMX Yes, all the annotations and limits/pagination to overcome the metadata truncation . To be more presise on the use case, I have observed this limitation when requesting the worker (GPUS) and control plane nodes list/count .

@likku123 just added the last fix for this issue. Once that merges I can do a release.
