I believe there's a Blink feature to enable autoscroll on Chromium without any extensions. I don't remember how to enable it, but you might be able to find that with your preffered search engine. UPDATE: Found that flag:

Autoscroll allows you to scroll vertically, or horizontally sometimes, when you click or hold the middle mouse button and move the mouse to the desired direction.
This feature for some reason isn't on Linux for electron apps and browsers (except for Firefox, as they offer their own autoscroll implementation).
There's this chrome extension, but I have no idea if it can be implemented in electron apps.

Update: the extension seems to work out of the box. Guess this thread is pointless now. Or maybe a better implementation can happen?
