Project status and future

Hi Evalyn,
I love the look of this project. I'm currently 3D printing your btrfld keyboard to solder together for use with my iPad Pro (12.9 inch 2024 model). I have some questions about noisedeck:

• do you use it regularly?
• do you plan on doing further work on it?
• what's the purpose of the raspberry pi and other hardware?

I would love to be able to adapt this to fit my iPad. I'm not a CAD engineer unfortunately so don't have much knowledge on how to do that. Can you give any pointers? Also, it won't fit on my printer (Ender 3 Pro). What printer did you use to print the parts?

i mainly use it for music creation, i found the ipadOS a bit limiting for programming

the rpi provides a locally available full linux device

theres lots of good resources on the internet. FreeCad is a bit odd at times, but it works. you certainly dont have to be a cad engineer to do this stuff. im definitely not

What printer did you use to print the parts

i used a bamboo x1c, but it barely fit. if you want to fit a larger ipad, you will either need a larger printer or split the larger parts and glue them
