I can understand your frustration and I apologize for not having a clear privacy policy.
This will be fixed together with the next release to make sure it gets properly done.

In the meantime I can say that the Poddr app itself doesn't track anything or share anything with anyone.
Poddr does contain links to 3rd party websites of podcasts but as these are not operated by me I've no control over them and their policies, clicking these types of links will also open them up in your normal browser so it's clear when you are leaving Poddr.

Poddr is built with Electron which itself uses the core components of the Chromium browser which doesnt send telemetry or information to 3rd parties.

The website of Poddr currently uses a very basic Google Analytics setup which I intend to remove since it doesn't provide any information that I actually care about or use for anything. I've only used it to see if people actually visits the site at all and if so from where in the world.

I'll look into this more in the future and make sure that people know about the policies of Poddr.
