Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
On a corportae Notebook I have problems installing Poddr. I can install but it does not run/start.

Describe the solution you'd like
As a protable App I would just copy the portable app onto a USB Stick or on the drive and I could use it - see https://portableapps.com/

Describe alternatives you've considered
A similar method where I do not have to install the software. Just copy it on the HD or start from USB Stick would do

Additional context
would be great to run poddr and listen to podcasts in a controlled environment. Also you could store podcasts on a USB stick and listen to them ion a PC without internet connection (corporate ;-)

This should absolutely be possible and I will look more into this with the next release!

I don't like to say any date since you never know what happens (maybe a global pandemic as an example? 💃 ).
I'm currently looking for work and since Poddr doesn't generate any income to speak of it's hard to justify the time it takes sometime to develop certain features. But I do intend to put in some time during Hacktoberfest and I'm aiming for a new release of Poddr before the year is over.

With that said I've been trying to compile a portable version for Poddr with varied results. It runs perfectly from a USB with a bit of a startup time but the issues is with settings etc. It still writes everything to the host computer and not the USB itself which is an issue. Currently I'm looking for ways to change this behavior but I can't make any promises.
